Later on Linda came back and stayed with Becka and Jack. She drove Will and Jack to school and gave Will her number to call her if anything what different. So they both walked in school, and went to their first class. After class they went to their lockers to get their things and Jack's had been ransacked. His locker was open and things were messy. His very twitchy looking principal approached him telling him the police were in his office. The principal told him he needed to talk to the two men. Will knew something was up, and stayed right outside the office. The police say they found drugs in his locker and say they need to take him down to the police station. When Jack see's these to men he realizes that there not just normal. They're wizards, and they're not police. Jack knew he had to do something, since the police didn't realize he had been trained. So Jack uses his brain for once and decides to trick them in still thinking that he was still untrained. So he said he was sick and the principal said the two men that they could take Jack to the bathroom if he's going to be sick. So they did and Jack went into a stall to try and make up a plan to escape. He decides to wait a little till he reveals his powers. Too late though one of the men did a charm on him so he couldn't move and only talk. Than his ex-girlfriend (haha this is really having your ex as your enemy.) she asked if he was doozed yet, and if he was ready to go. Jack asked what she was doing there, and she explained that she was a wizard who wanted to trade him as well. (For money and revenge.)
This connects to my life because sometimes I play stupid. It isn't what it sounds! (Even those most of the times it isn't pretending.) I only pretend in situations sometimes people are sensitive about things and they don't want you knowing so I would play stupid. Also when I read about the Leesha part I was reminded about something in the sixth grade were I gave and ex-boyfriends number to an online dating thing that always ask for your number. And he got a text saying how compatible he was with George Bush. This was my revenge and I like it better than wizard tricking him.

Up to Chapter 13.
Once Jack was stunned he was pulled into the hallway. Where there witness. (That were students.) Jack was still in a daze and forced towards the front doors of the school. Linda and Becka burst through the door and Becka immediately started demanding to know what was going on. Becka started talking to the police men when Jack told her they weren't real police men. Linda stepped up and said to take her instead, and one of the men started to and the other said it's too risky. Then Hastings stepped in they had an epic duel. (This is where Harry Potter references come in. Everyone knows what Harry's Potters like.Without wands though.) Hastings became angry at the two fake police who are trying to take Jack away. So of course they start firing flames of magic at them and they have a battle between good and bad. Hastings put up a shield around him and jack and made it all shiny and fuzzy. Than police men started fighting back with a different ball of magic but it was too late. Hastings had come up behind him and started pushing their skulls into the ground as they started melting! Yaya go good guys! So I believe he killed both of them when he melted them into the ground. :D
Up to Chapter 12
Jack walked Ellen home after the soccer game instead of going to Leesha's party. Jack had to lean on Ellen because his sprained ankle. Crossing the dark parking lot Lobrek approached Jack with two really big guys behind him. Of course like all teenage guys Lobrek wanted to fight Jack mostly because Lobrek was drunk. Jack tried to fend him off but Lobrek left them no choice. He fought back when he was stricked and Jack eventually just struck back. When Jack strikes back Jack strikes back. He torn him to the ground, and had a rock in his hand to do for the finial "kill shot" when Ellen screamed at him to stop. He did, and he walked Ellen the rest of the way home and than left.
This connects to me in different ways but there not as extreme. For example when Jack finds his ticking point. That's how I am sometimes except I don't get to an extreme. Like I have a finial ticking point same as Jack. Sometimes ya just brake.

Chapter 9
Jack goes back to his life in Trinity, and things change like his life, himself, and his relationships with people. His vice principal Mr.Hastings is his new trainer, Hastings is a wizard himself and teaches Jack both wizardry and warrior fighting. Jack starts training with Hastings one on one and Jack learns how to control his power and turn it on and off. His other new teacher is his old neighbor Nick, he teaches him what's in the book. About the legend of the five guilds, and wizardry. Jack also begins to drift away from his friends and spend more time learning about magic, and he's also becoming more athletic. Which is leading to becoming a much better soccer player, and the girls are all over him but he ignores it. I'm at the ending of chapter 9 and Hastings has just set up fights for Jack to verse other warriors. (He won't get hurt.) So far he's not doing so good.
This connects to the world by the word: "training." Training is something I think we all go through. We go through it in a different way though. We don't fight warriors. We study in school for 12 years. Training is for preparing for something and for us it's preparing for life knowledge and a job.

Chapter 5
Aunt Linda drops Fitch and Will of at the hotel, and takes Jack to get some coffee. She says that she would tell her some of what's going on but only what's necessary. "So what do you think of the sword?" Linda starts the conversation with that and lead on it was magic. She explains about the war in Britain and America and how people have been fighting for hundred of years. Only with their war the Anaweir have no idea it's going on. She tells him that she's an enchanter and what that really means. Jack still hasn't figured it out by now that he's part of this. Even when she saws our family he still doesn't realize he has a magic power. He finally asked what Susannah was and Linda replied "She was a warrior like you." Guess what his first question was? "A woman warrior?" Isn't that sexist, and stupid he just realizes he has this great power and he ask a sexist question. Trying not to be a stereo typical but he is a teenage guy. She than also explains to him is medicine isn't for his heart it's for his warrior stone. Linda explains something kind of difficult to understand. Jack was born a wizard, he was born without a wizard stone. So Long-branch put in a warrior stone just for an experiment. (He would have died without a stone.) They went on about their talk of wizards and magic. Aunt Linda said that now they would either hide Jack or he would have to learn how to fight. He hates the idea, he doesn't wanna fight anyone. She gives him an envelope with the trainers name in it, and gives him new medicine.
This connects to the world because of the war. Country's are always fighting like America and Iraq. This is a common things that everyone knows about war and how it goes. Two groups of people disagree or just fight each other. We all know what war does, from things like the diary of Anne Frank. This war emotion finds Aunt Linda like it did to Anne Frank, sorta.

Last post continued. Up to Page 116
- Once Fitch gets back onto his feet, and Jack says the charm as he opens the box. A man starts walking towards them, until the moonlight hits him they don't realize it's the cowboy. The cowboy wasn't alone though the a man with a limp was also walking towards them. The man with the limb, had something different about him. Something that Jack could only think to be a wizard. He said nothing to the others in fear of scaring them. As the wizard approaches he fiercely says to hand over the sword. Of course he doesn't just hand over the sword. He's not going down without a fight. That's what they do Jack pulls out the sword and as he does it glows. Light comes of the sword and when Jack was starring at it the name came to his mind. "Shadow slayer." Flames like Harry Pottter when Voldamort shots flames from his wand, comes from the wizards hand. (Sorry if that confused you I just thought of Voldamort when I read flames coming from his hands.) Jacks not just gonna stand there, he's not that stupid. He deflects it with Shadow slayer. Than out of the middle of now where or his dead relatives tell him to run to the church. He first tells Will and Fitch to and they run to the church hurdling over gravestones. Which I pictured as them going very fast, than tripping over one. (Hehe, which they didn't but I had hope.) I figured why they were going to the church, because magic probably won't work. I was right, as soon as Jack ended up at the church shadows slayer glow went away and the wizard and cowboy stayed outside of the church. The wizard didn't dare to go into the church. He still forced the cowboy into the church. The cowboy was lucky because that's when Aunt Linda got there. The three boys ran into the car, and Fitch took the keys of the wizards car and threw them into the woods. (Hehe.) The traveled far before they went to a hotel under a fake name and made plans to go home the next day.

Chapter 4 Page 121
When they get to the graveyard I could see where they were at night, and surrounded by tombstones. (This is a visualization piece.) Then when they started digging up dirt and hitting the chest with the shovel. I could picture like how they do it in movies. "Clunk" Anyways they went on to pull it out of the ground, and bury the hole back up. While Jack was leaning back against the tomb stone. While Fitch opened the box. BOOM, a flash of lights and he flew back. Of course Jack and his intelligence realize now that he was suppose to be the one to open the box. Fitch was just sacred and not harmed, and just blown far away. (Hehe.) Jack grabs the box and slowly opens it while muttering the charm Linda told him to say. I will continue this post. It is not finished! Because you always wanna end with a bang and it gets juicy later...

Chapter 4 Page 101
Aunt Linda and the three boys split up because Aunt Linda thought she had someone following them and she didn't want him to follow Jack and his friends too. So Jack goes back to the hotel with his friends and sleeps for the night. While Aunt drives around Ohio trying to ditch her stalker. Who might want to kill her or just want to find the sword before she does. Aunt Linda calls Jack and tells him to find were Susannah stone is, and buried behind it will be a box with a weapon in it, a sword. She tells him he must say a certain thing while he was opening the box to say certain words. (Which it did not say what they were.) She says Jack must be the first one to open the box. Aunt Linda stay away from the boys while the next day they go the library to try and find where Susannah was buried. While they were there a man that looked like a cowboy named Stan. Who seemed to have to much of an interest in the boys looking at old family rerecords. They found what they were looking for and examined it out loud... a little to loud. They then realized that Stan had more interest than he should. They quickly left, and that night decided to head over to the graveyard. I just finished as they were finding Susannah tombstone.
I'm predicting that at the graveyard they'll eventually meet up with someone else of course. Someone who wants the sword to them self. I think Jack will have to fight for it, even though he doesn't even know he's a wizard yet. Of course the book will have to go on so yes, Jack will make it his friends... well I say 50/50 chance.

Chapter 3 Page 69 3/3/10
After the soccer tryouts Jack had, two very strange men came up to the coach. They asked if a boy had been there earlier, the coach nodded and said there had been about thirty. The men took the list from the coach and told him to pick his top five. The coach just agreed because the seemed unusually powerful.
Jacks Aunt Linda came to visit Jack. He could tell something was diffrent, she was here for something, and he was right she came to ask a favor of Jack and two of his friends. She asked them to go on an road trip. To look up some dead old realtives. Jack agreed to and so did his friends, and at the last minute Aunt Linda forgot Jacks two friends were coming, and tryed to get it to be just them, but it was too late. Aunt Linda also did something kind of suspious in my eyes, she gave Jack a sweater with diffrent kind of aniamal buttons on it. Jack thought nothing of it, but I'm thinking it has some power. Wizard power.
On the road trip Aunt Linda quickly sped to the place where she was going a court house. It was late on a Friday night, so they knew it would be open. They went to a downstairs room were all the records where. They hadn't seen anyone on the way down so they just opened the door and started searching. Aunt Linda told the boys they were looking for a dead realtive called, "Susannah Downey born 1868; farmer's wife; died 12 May 1900; cause of death: accident." They found exactly that in the death record book, Aunt Linda then excalimed she needed to know where she was now her grave. So they started to search for that. That's when the lights turned off and a man walked into the room. Aunt Linda told the boys too meet her at the cafe in half an hour, so they ran out of the room. Hearing nothing but books slamming on the ground, and strange things they had no idea of.
I'm predicting that that man was magic and maybe Aunt Linda is to. She couldn't reval to the boys, and that's why she told them to go. I also think that they'll find Susannahs grave and try to dig it up, and I have no doubt that whoever they are will try to strike again. I'm thinking something of Susannanhs magaical powers will also come up and will either help them or hurt them.

I remember where I was when... (Not book related.)
I remember where I was when 911 happened. I was only six or seven and I heard something about a terrorist attack. I didn't understand what that was, until I walked into my parents room to see my dad sitting on the end of the bed watching TV. I was about to ask him something when he told me to just sit down until comerical. I sat down next to him and watched a replay of a twin tower going down that had happened just an hour before. Still not knowing what a terriost was or why that plane had hit that tower. I sat there stunned to see so many people dead. My dad tried to explain someone ment hit those towers, but it wasn't until years later that I realized what it will really was. Someone wanted to destroy our country.

Post 2 Page 30 2/24/10
I started when it said over 100 years later in a small town in Ohio. A wizard surgeon saved the baby by putting a warriors stone in him instead of the wizard stone. And I'm still trying to figure out but the surgeon said shed take him with him to protect and train him. Till his aunt convinced him he would be fine here and to take him when he's older. The wizard surgeon agreed, and than it skipped to when he was in High School. He wakes up in the morning and tells his about his soccer tryout later and reminds her about it. She than gives him his medicine that's in a bottle. Jacks friend arrives at the door and reminds him that they have jazz band practice early, and they need to get going. So they run to school and during homeroom Jack realizes he forgot to take his medicane. Something seems strange about the way he describes that his mother and his doctor are very partuliar about him taking it every day. He ask to goes home, but it is not aloud, he calls but no one picks up. The last part I read was when he just started tryouts.

Why the book, why did I choose it, and what do I think will happen first post 2/28/10

I choose the Warrior Heir, by Cinda Chima. I was recommended the book by my brother. I've only read the first 15 or so pages of the book and I was told I was going to be lost the first 100 pages, and I am. First in the book Lee's in the woods getting fish for his family when he goes back his father and brother are dead, and his mothers seems hypnotized. His house is ram-sacked and he sees his sister Carrie. The ones who did this to his family are called the Roses and the White Rose is apparently the most powerful wizard. Not the most threatening name to me. The Roses or the White Rose took Carrie to by a warrior. The last part I read said a 100 years in the future. So I'm confused what's happening now because he should have saved his sister. I'm hoping he will eventually and that's my prediction.
